If there is a sport you can think of, I have probably played it. By the time I was in high school, I knew that I wanted to be a professional athlete above everything else. Being a solid athlete, the strength required to move my frame around the court has always been an issue especially in the legs, where I have injured both groins many times. For any current or aspiring athlete, the pain of being sidelined is agonizing and hurts more than most injuries themselves.
I am looking forward to preventing these injuries from recurring with the help of the strength and conditioning coaches at ESS.
My ultimate dream is to represent Australia at the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics, and consistently being able to get on court and push myself will be the only way I can improve to that level and I am counting on the support of the ESS team to help me get there.
Hi, my name is Tyler Hawkins and I am a professional Squash player. In my short career to date, I’ve had the amazing opportunity train and grow with former world number ones. This lead to my selection as part of the high performance pathway, which in turn, gave me the honour of playing for Australia and also captaining the Victorian team (two memories I will always treasure.)
Join me on my journey to hopefully representing Australia at the Commonwealth Games.
